Opera Mini : Secret Tips

Opera Mini is one of our most favorite browser . Its an important browser in our life . Mainly we use it to save money because Opera Mini compressed the size of web pages and save bandwidth . But there was many more features of Opera Mini . Now we will know about that.

Synchronize Bookmarks

Opera Mini have a option call Synchronize . You can see its on home screen . By Synchronize , Opera Mini browser save all bookmarks and speed dial as backup on your account and you can transfer all of your saved bookmarks to other mobile , computer or laptop to use it any time any browser . If you run Synchronize all of your data will be saved . If you save any new bookmarks , it will be saved on your account and if you delete any one , it will also delete from backup . To use Synchronize , you need to have an account on Opera Mini . To create account , lunch Opera Mini . Now on home screen click Synchronize Opera... and in new page create account or go to https://my.opera.com/community/signup/ to sign up . Sign up is free .

In some new version Synchronize is calling as Opera Link and it have on setting page and in PC version its on tools menu . Note : if you are not loged in for Synchronize , bookmarks will never backup .

Mobile Blog

If you like to make your own blog and want to be an blogger but you cant do that from your mobile , Opera Mini will help you in this fact . You can start your own micro blogging on opera mini . You can share photos , story and others .

Backup and Sharing files

You can share your files to others or make backup using Opera Mini . Your uploaded files not visible to others but if you give them download link , they can download . In Opera Mini , you can upload up to 2GB files for free .

* Shortcuts : To use Opera Mini more easily , you can use shortcuts . To see all shortcuts press * or # and wait few second . You will see all command . Now press * or # and number to go to the menu . Like if you press #8 , setting menu will be open .

* To download or upload files on Opera Mini , you need to give access right to read and write user data . To do that , in Symbian phone go to application manager , scroll to Opera Mini . Now option > suite setting and set ask first time for read and write user data . In java supported phone , go on the application folder and scroll to Opera Mini . Now option > setting and set read and write user data to ask first time .

This system need to set for only java version . Symbian have full access to read and write .

* No need to use separate account for Synchronize , Blog , File Manager etc . Only one account can used for all .

* You can save note for access later . To save note or read already saved note go on bookmarks > note . If Synchronize is running then your all note also backuped on Opera Mini .
