Claim Blogger - Blogspot Site on Alexa

Do you want to claim your blogger powered blog on Alexa ? Just follow this instruction -


1. First Log in to your Alexa account .
2. Go to http://www.alexa.com/siteowners/claim and enter your site URL .
3. Select any one of the plans .
4. Now use the "add Alexa verification ID" method to claim your site and copy the meta tag . Leave this window/tab open .
5. Log in to your blogger in a new window/tab .
6. Click onto your Dashboard and open Dashboard .
7. Then click on the "Design" link .
8. Now click on the "Edit HTML" link
9. Paste your meta tag into the  section of the HTML tag (it's best to do it on the line after the  marker ) .
10. Click on Save Template and save changes .
11. Go again back to your Alexa account window/tab and click on the "Verify my ID" button .


Now your site should be verified . You can change site info , contact details if you wish .


Note: If you are using the new Blogger 2011 interface then follow these instruction to edit your blog and claim your blog .
HTML:
1. Log in to your blogger blog .
2. Click on the "Template" link in the left-hand navigation panel .
3. Now click on the "Edit Template HTML" button .
4. Now click on "Proceed" button .
5. Paste the Alexa meta tag just under the "" HTML tag .
6. Click the "Save Template" button and save changes .
7. Go again back to your Alexa account window/tab and click on the "Verify my ID" button . . . . . . .
